Product Description

Aluminum Die Casting Arm Channel, the part is a bracket for passing and fixing the wire of the windscreen wiper, the standard carried for the Die Casting work of this part is GBT6414-CT4, this part has a lot of hollow-out structure, which need not only one slide to form. This part has a cylinder structure of φ15.7 mm, at the top of this structure, which is the far end on the injection system, so this structure is easier to have internal porosity because of misrun, what's more, the part request e-coating surface specification, if the part has void or porosity inside, the E-Coating technology have high temperature curing process after water cleaning, because of the thermal expansion the inside air in the casting will expand to the part surface, in the procedure, the air will lead to pinholes or pits which is unacceptable according to cosmetic criterion. So for the die casting process of this part, the engineer consider increasing the pressure during slow shot(it is for filling the casting well). Meanwhile, the inspector and the operator should pay attention to the first article on the density on the section surface, especially the cylinder structure mentioned before. The inspector can use magnifying lens to observe. 

After de-gating, the workshop will proceed polishing to remove the parting line, the residual of the injection gate and the overflow gate. As there are too many hollow-out structures, vibratory deburring is not suitable as the stones may be too big to get into a lot of areas. Prior to E-coating, as the pre-treatment, we will choose second time of nylon polishing to have more delicate surface. 

At last, for this part, the material is ADC-12, it is  a Japanese aluminum serial, a very common material in high pressure die casting industry. The material is equivalent to Chinese aluminum alloy YL113, the corresponding standard is GB/T 15115-2009.
