Product Description

Zinc Alloy Awning Mount of Motor Side, it is an customized part applied to motor homes, the technology for this part is high pressure Die Casting, the accuracy of specified dimensions and tolerance on the print is not high, the carried criterion for die casting is GBT6414-CT7, the average wall thickness of this part is 2-3mm, it is small, but as the material is zinc alloy, it is feasible for die casting process. However, the main feature of the part is the deep, big cavity, what's more, usually the allowed draft for Zinc Die Casting will be small, in this case, the enclosed strength to the moving die generated will be very large, leading to potential risk of mold release. In order to get the parts out successful, the qty and the location of the ejector pins should be distributed very well, Meanwhile, in order to make the Motor Home Parts out from the mold successful, there should be enough release agent sprayed to the mold. 

In die casting process, the operator should supervise the temperature of the molten metal, the higher temperature, the die temperature also will increase, then result in generating a lot of water from the mold release agent, the technology of this part is high pressure, high speed the air from the water rush into the part, then trapped. As the wall thickness is small, so such porosity will easily exposed to the outer surface.
