Aluminum Die Casting Wiper Mounting Head

The Aluminum Die Casting Wiper Mounting Head is a small part which is used as Mount head on windscreen wiper of bus, boat and car. The technology for this part is high pressure cold chamber Die Casting, the mold design is very important, like the location of the injection gate, runner, venting system etc. Incorrect design will lead to turbulence while injecting, the result is internal porosity. 

The part has requirement of powder coating treatment, so the density of the part is very important, unqualified part usually have a lot of void inside. Technology of powder coating has process of curing in oven in about temperature of 200 degree, in this case, the porosities inside of the parts will expand to get out, leading to bubble on the part surface, such defect is unacceptable. 

What's more, for the design of the mold, should attach attention to the parting lines, considering the convenience for operation of deburring, polishing. 

The part has high requirement on corrosion prevention, so used the powder of brand of Akzo Nobel. For powder coating, the engineer produced instruction of material flow, in order to ensure no scratch, no damage to the film of powder coating, leading to rejected parts.

The material of this part is ADC-12, a most common aluminum alloy in life. This material has nice property of fluidity, meanwhile, this material have very good processability. Always used for producing transmission housing, motor housing, mounting bracket etc.
