Aluminum Die Casting Body Side Hanger is a part applied to Suspension system, with the purpose of making the driving experience more stable, more comfortable, safer. The part is an auto part for famous motor corporation Chrysler-Fiat, so the development is careful, need a lot of tests and verification, so prior to mass production, the customer prefer developing a prototype die to run prototype samples for validating the reasonability of the design, the feasibility in practical application and the mechanical property. In fact, for this part, it is the second prototype die, the first one it too thin to be strong enough during physical mechanical capacity test.

What is prototype die?  Usually it is a kind of die which is much cheaper, in order to reduce some developing cost as possible as can. Usually a mold can run more than 50000+ shots, but for a prototype die, it is good to run hundreds or 1000-2000 shots, then the mold will become crack, it is because the material used for prototype die usually to be #45 steel.  For mass production die, the mold core is made of H13. 

The raw material of this part is ADC12, carried with standard JIS H 5302-2000, this material has high content of Si element, which means good fluidity, good liquidity means good performance on filling the cavity of the mold while Die Casting.
